The focal point of InterContinental Resort and Spa Moorea is the Moorea Dolphin Centre, a natural pool that has been made into a home for dolphins; free to swim away into the waters surrounding the island, they always return to the lagoon.
An on-site dive center offers other opportunities to explore the natural surroundings, including ocean and lagoon diving, feeding sharks and rays, and visiting an underwater rose garden.

InterContinental Resort and Spa Moorea features 144 air-conditioned guestrooms with bamboo floors in the entrance and the bedroom. Bathrooms and balconies have stone-like tile.
Bungalow walls are covered with bamboo and red Meranti wood from Indonesia. The Polynesian decor is complimented by mahogany and natural wicker furniture, teak tables and reclining armchairs on the balconies, and armchairs, ottomans, desks, and chairs inside.
TVs and glassware are inside unique drum-shaped cabinets. Further native touches include tapa cloths from the Marquesas on top of the sliding doors, paintings from a well-known Moorean artist, stone statues from the Marquesas, Tifaifai cushions on the bed, and natural cotton bedspreads.
